Not Claude Ambroise Régnier, Duke of Massa
He was "Duke of Massa" in Napoleon's nobility. Born in Switzerland, this dashing fellow killed General Destaing in a duel in Egypt. He was in Naples service 1806 – 1807 and commanded Saxon troops in 1812-13. Captured at Leipzig in 1813, he died shortly after his release from captivity after Napoleon's first abdication.
