He was famous for leading shirtless charges. Enlisted in 1755 (4 wounds at Minden); com. in 1785; in Italay 92-96; X rank in 1794; XX rank in 1795 after his victory @ Saorgio; XX 96 Italy - Arcola; and then garrison commands until his retirement in 1797. Died in 1801. (1738-1801)
