The father of author Alexander Dumas = "The Three Musketeers"). An illegitimate son of the Marquis de la Pailleterie, was earlier known as Thomas-Alexandre Davy de la Pailletrie. Huge & very strong and born in Haiti. XX rank 1793; served in the West Pyrennes in the early 90s; XX (Cav.) Egypt. Retired in 1802 after he criticized Napoleon. "The Black Devil." (1762-1806)
